View Larger Image IRIS SURPRISE Intermediate bearded Iris  A showy intermediate bearded iris with large heads of beautifully ruffled flowers. The falls are pale lemon and the standards a creamy white. It is very free flowering and makes a bold patch. Always popular when we showed it at Chelsea .  Dry sunny border, ideal for a wall or as we grow it under our pleached pears.. Plant the rhizomes at the surface with the roots going downwards Height: 14" Flowers: April -May
