NERINE
The non hardy members of this popular genus of autumn flowering bulbs. These are winter growing and require a dry summer dormancy. They make easy pot plants for cold glass. Plant the bulbs at the surface of the compost and leave to become congetsted.

The last nerine to flower with distinct flat curved leaves, hence the name. The large salmon-cerise flowers open from dark red buds. Not hardy but easy in a deep pot in a cold greenhouse.
